What is the NWC Math Team?
The Northwest Catholic High School Math Team competes in the Capital Area Math League, attending six competitions each year. We meet every Wednesday to explore and solve problems across many branches of mathematics, such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. NWC Math Team Students work collaboratively and develop problem-solving strategies and mathematical creativity.
Two Math Team Alumini Headed to MIT
Two graduates in the Class of 2022 went to MIT, Brianna Lebrun and Lillian Bluestein, who both participated in the NWC Math Team
Lucy Shuck Named Salutatorian
The salutatorian of the Class of 2026, Lucy Shuck, participated in the NWC Math Team her freshman year, sophomore year, and senior year
